Q: Why can't I buy a microscope online from your company?

A: Our specialty is helping customers get the right microscope and accessories. We don't want you to buy a microscope only to find out it doesn't have the right options for your application. It doesn't cost any more to talk to us directly and we'll help to make sure you get the equipment you really need.

Q: How long will my order take?

A: We ship the same day as the order, as long as it is before our shipping carrier arrives at the end of the day. If the item you order is in stock, you should have it within a few days, depending on your location. Expedited shipping is available. Unfortunately, we cannot control manufacturer lead times. So if what you order is not in stock, we will inform you of the expected delivery time. We do not charge you until your order is shipped, except in rare cases of special orders and customized manufactured equipment.

Q: What service areas do you cover?

A: Our main office is located in Central Florida but we service the entire United States. We've got you covered no matter where you are. We also provide service and sales to the Caribbean. Our extension of service came about due to our contractual arrangements with customers who have locations across the US.

Q: How long will it take to get my microscopes serviced?

A: For regular maintenance, service is generally scheduled the same week. If you have an emergency, we can get to you the same or no later than the next day. We keep an extensive database of our customers and their equipment, so if you tell us how often you want your equipment serviced, we will keep track of your maintenance for you and remind you when service is due.

Q: How much does preventive maintenance on my microscope cost?

A: Our preventive maintenance prices include thorough cleaning and minor repairs. See our service page for the specifics. We charge service based on the type of microscope you have, how many microscopes you have, how often they are serviced, and other variables. We don't charge the same price for a simple standard microscope without any attachments as we do for a large microscope with lots of bells and whistles. That wouldn't be fair to you and we wouldn't be in business very long either. We take pride in exceptional service - our technicians know what they're doing. We can provide written quotes prior to service.

Q: Where do you ship?

A: We ship to all areas in the United States, as well as most other countries. Contact us for information on international shipments.

Q: Can I return an item?

A: In most cases, we can accept returns for items that are unused and in original packaging, and within 15 days of receipt. There may be a re-stocking fee. No merchandise can be returned without approval and a Return Authorization, so please call us if you need to return an item. We rarely find returns are necessary because we discuss your needs prior to your order.

Q: Do you match prices?

A: We would be happy to see if we can match or beat a price quote. We can usually beat any price as we deal directly with most manufacturers.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), including procurement cards, as well as standard forms of payment.
